RESEARCH LABORATORY OF ELECTRONIC PROBE ANALYSISThe laboratory executes fractographic analysis of different materials by methods of scanning electron microscopy on sections fractions, and free form fragments of articles, analyses of composition of mass, powders mixtures; determines total and local element and chemical composition and stereologic performances of structure; executes the identification of the material grade according to the normative documentation. The laboratory executes the next types of tests: analysis of images; micro-Xray spectral analysis; scanning electron microscopy; atomicemission spectroscopy; atomicforce microscopy. |

RESEARCH LABORATORY OF PHYSICS OF METALSLaboratory executes metallographic investigations of structure and composition of source materials, raw materials and finished products; the metallographic control of the macrostructure, contamination by macroinclusions; investigations of microstructure, microhardness, grain size, depth of layer without carbon, non-metalic inclusions, phase composition of materials, character and size of surface defects. The laboratory carries out the following tests: metallographic tests of structure of source materials, raw materials and finished products; mechanic tests; X-ray diffractometry (structural and phase analysis); high temperature tests; transmission electron microscopy; micro- and macrodurometry. |
