CENTER OF THE INVESTIGATION AND TESTING OF MATERIALS

         The unique in the Republic of Belarus center for carrying out of certification testings in the field of material studying was created and accredited by the State Standard of the Republic of Belarus in 1997 on the base of Department "Investigations and testing of materials". Actually the center is included in the list of collective use centers by the order of Presidium of NASB and SCST RB. The testing center is specialized in the field of carrying out of certification testings of different metals, alloys, ceramic and composite materials and products made thereof and in the field of material investigations of a wide profile.

         Being the center of collective use it provides carrying out of different analytic works for organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Belarus. Annually the center executes more than 200 orders. Such organizations as Ministry of Internal Affairs, Office of Public Prosecutor, Custom, Ministry of Public Health and others often demand the expert services of the center. The determinant factor of the address of these organizations to our center is its independence.

          Actually in BS ScIPMC by proposition of testing center is created the service of certification of metal and non-metal materials and products being made thereof that gives the possibility for customer or producer of materials and articles not only execute the certification tests in our Tests center but also to obtain the certificates of their quality according to the National System of Certification.

          The structure of the department consists of 3 research laboratories:
     - Research laboratory of electronic probe analysis
     - Research laboratory of physics of metals
     - Research laboratory of chemical and spectral analysis

          We have the possibility to execute the testings of different materials with determination of their chemical composition and mechanical properties. We are the owners of some unique methods of in-vestigations using more than 30 units of analytic and testing equipment.
