Field of application: Diamond segmental cutting wheels are used for cutting with water cooling of rocks, concrete, asphalt and others building materials. Cutting elements (diamond segments) are made by pressure sintering of preliminary formed bi-layered blanks in protective atmosphere. This technology enables to obtain high-density diamond-metal compositions with stable properties and uniform distribution of premetallized diamond grains. Against the type of treated material developed are some new metallic binders which ensure the optimization of cutting conditions for each kind of material subjected to cutting. |
